To Steve Porter, Photography is both a passion and an art. It all started, when, as a teenager he took up photography as a hobby and later began working as a professional photographer.
Over forty years later, it's still the same, with every day providing new challenges.
Aged 21, Steve joined the local newspaper in his home town of Guildford, and following thirty years on the local circuit with the Surrey Advertiser, he began working as a freelance photographer based in Godalming, Surrey. He has worked in many different fields, building up a loyal client base and earning a good reputation.
Steve has a particular interest in sport and theater photography but also covers press photography, public relations photography, social photography, corporate photography, commercial photography, wedding photography and portraiture, .
Steve's friendly style and informal approach is clearly evident in his work, and his years of experience allow him to cover many and varied subjects.
